Free tennis and squash open day – Sunday 8th July 10am to 1pm

All standards and ages are welcome to our free summer open day. It’s on Sunday 8th July from 10am to 1pm.

There’ll be a full program of events in tennis, squash and racketball. Even if you’ve never played before just come along with your trainers and we’ll provide the rackets and balls.

Our coaches will guide you to improve your game.

It’s completely free fun for all the family. There’s even a free bouncy castle for the young ones.

The bar will be open so if the exercise gives you a thirst you can enjoy a drink on the balcony.

The club is in Sandford Road less than half a mile from Bromley South Station. The postcode is BR2 9AN.

The club has 12 outdoor tennis courts, 2 indoors, and 3 squash courts. There’s also free wifi, BT Sport, pool and table tennis.

Sunday 8th July is the middle Sunday of Wimbledon so the weather’s bound to be glorious. However, if it’s raining we’ll be on the indoor courts.

If you do want to join there’s a discount on the day. New members are eligible for free coaching sessions.

To get more information on the open day or about the club, call Helen and Sue in the club office on 020 8460 0936 or email office@bromleyltsc.co.uk

Junior Tennis

Junior Tennis

Our junior tennis section is a key part of our club at Sandford Road. Children can enjoy tennis from age 2 upwards!

Becoming a junior member gives you lots of things- free junior club nights during term time (link here pls to Junior club night page), junior ladder, Club championships and free pool and table tennis in the Pavilion.
We also have a number of junior members that compete for BLTSC in Aegon Boys & Girls matches.
Group coaching sessions are cheaper for Junior tennis members too!

Join the REBOlution!!!  (link to REBO) Our new practice wall is perfect for junior practice and warm up. It’s not on an existing court, it’s enclosed so practice is always possible!

BLTSC recognise the importance of coaching as the path to learning the game. Whatever a child’s goals are- to be the next Andy Murray or to learn to play simply for fun, we work with our coaches to prioritise junior court space at all times. Our two newest clay courts (11&12) are most used by our junior players!

We have enjoyed a number of junior tennis successes: BLTSC junior players going on to win County titles and represent Kent nationally. Last year one of our players made the girls doubles at Wimbledon!
As part of our ongoing commitment to support and develop junior tennis talent,  BLTSC fund weekly Junior Performance Squads (link here to BLTSC Junior Performance Squads) for Red, Orange and Green players.
Annual membership starts from as little as £50 for 10&U age group, come and join the fun!

Open finals day 2017

Well played to the class of 2017!

BLTSC’s annual open tournament finals day was a hard fought one, with lots of matches going the distance and only a brief rain interruption. The scones were in good supply and the BBQ was kept busy all afternoon and evening. Well played everyone, thanks to the supporters also and lastly many thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.

So many people make this the centre piece of our tennis calendar- thank you all!
