BLTSC’s girls party!

BLTSC threw a free party for its young female players in September. We have more girls enjoying tennis at Sandford Road than for some time so what better way to celebrate this but with some mayhem, lots of balloons, plenty of cake and too many lollypops!

Well done to Sam Tyler and his team of Tennis Assistants for keeping the proceedings under control… Just!

Welcome to BLTSC’s new web site!

Please take the time to have a look around our new site and see the updates that we’ve made!

The key change is that the new site is mobile friendly.

As part of this technical upgrade we chose to update the look and feel of the old site- what do you think?

Upcoming tennis fixtures will be on the home page (when published) so you can access them at a glance

Links to our social media accounts are there- so get posting, tweeting or following us if you don’t already!

Squash and Racketball now have greater prominence reflecting the growth in those sections.

Quickest way to access the site on your mobile is set up a link (looks like an app button), more info on this will follow.

The bar is open!

The finishing touches have been completed so our newly refurbished bar is now well and truly open!

We’re planning a Club social function in November: keep your eyes and ears peeled for news…!

So after your game why not come upstairs, have a drink and a look around?

Discussions will begin shortly about soft furnishings, time to say goodbye to that carpet!

In case you forget- here is our old bar…..!

Sun’s out- big time!!!

It’s already a scorcher out there today- and weather forecasters are hinting at 35 degrees- ouch!

The good news is Club night starts at 7pm on tonight and is played on the artificial grass, so the heat of the day will have passed. If it’s still too warm there’s always the bar and balcony for a chilled drink whilst you watch the others exert themselves!

Tennis finals day Saturday 16th July

BLTC’s 2016 Finals Day is almost here!!

There are over 10 open finals alongside junior events that will be contested throughout the afternoon.

The weather is set fair- ish. The bar will be open from midday and afternoon tea will be served from 3pm

There will be an early evening BBQ: tickets are now on sale from the Club Office office- don’t forget to buy in advance!

Full order of play and timings will follow later in the week.

This is one of the highlights of our Club year: please come along, enjoy the tennis with your fellow members and support all our competitors

OPEN DAY – SUNDAY 3RD JULY

We have our Open Day at
Bromley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club from 10am to 1pm on Sunday 3rd

It doesn’t matter
whether you’re a complete beginner or if you’re up there with Andy Murray and
Johanna Konta, everyone’s welcome to come along to BLTSC. The club is in
Sandford Road very near Bromley South train station. The postcode is BR2 9AN.

All the activities on
the Open Day are free –

    standards – great fun)

  • Fastest serve

  • Adult social play for all standards

  • Mini tennis for the kids

  • A bouncy castle

  • Poole, table tennis and wifi

    We can provide you with
    a tennis racquet and balls.

    There’ll be
refreshments and the bar will be open.

    The club has 12 outdoor
tennis courts, 6 of which are floodlit for evening play. We also have 2 indoor
tennis courts. There are also 3 squash courts. The club house has been
completely refurbished in the last 2 years.

    If you decide to join
the club on the Open Day there’ll be a discount to usual membership.

    For members, there many
different ways to play tennis at BLTSC – free coaching for new members, social
play, over 70 people in singles box leagues, over 30 in doubles box leagues,
serious and fun tournaments, club teams and much more.

    We have loads of social
events, and of course there are barbecues with a beer or chilled white wine on
    our balcony.

    So why not come along
on Sunday 3rd July? We’ve been playing tennis for over 125 years.
